And my journey continues... day by day, experience by experience, who knows where this is all leading, an adventure for sure, come play with me and bring light into your world.
This blog is to record a year of Soul Quest with Barbara Sellers, five rhythms teacher extraordinaire. As she expertly weaves together the dance and creative expression to open us up to the language of each of our souls as we quest together for a deeper meaning to our journey.
Week one - As I now live in London and the journey venue is Edinburgh, it’s a good excuse to make more of the travelling so on the way up I set off early Thursday morning and I took a detour via Megabus to Yorkshire where I visited Andrea, Michael, Henry and Charles. A dinner and evening of catching up followed by a morning of walking in a spring like English country village, playing in the park, seeing the horses, splashing in puddles and painting with two year old Henry and one year old Charles. Then back to Scotch Corner where after a ninety minute delay the Megabus coach arrived. Warm and comfortable with a driver who made good time and speeded along making up sixty minutes so not so late after all landing in Edinburgh. I took a bus to Musselburgh where I was met at the bus stop by Joanie, such thoughtfulness, who is offering me a place to rest my body for the weekend and who is going to accompany me on the quest ahead. Then onto Sylvie’s we had a wonderful catch up and a splendid dinner lovingly made by Sylvie another five rhythms friend I made in Spain last year.
The quest is around the corner; it’s time to walk five minutes along the firth to Joanie’s where it’s time to catch some sleep and dreamtime to see what might lie ahead. Dreamland here I come…
